Beef Noodle

Ingredients
- 300g beef (brisket or flank), thinly sliced
- 200g wheat noodles (such as lamian or udon)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 star anise
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- Green onions and cilantro for garnish
Directions

Heat vegetable oil in a pot and add star anise, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.

Add beef slices and stir-fry until they turn brown.

Stir in soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and salt.

Add water and bring it to a boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

Cook noodles separately according to package instructions.

Serve the beef and soup over cooked noodles.

Garnish with green onions and cilantro.
